Sony A7R & Leica Noctilux M Mount Lens Test

Playing around with the Sony A7R camera body (36mp + full frame mirrorless body) and some of my Leica M mount lenses. I picked the camera up the other day and have just done a few test shots, attached one using the Leica Noctilux V3 lens @ f/1. The adapter I am using is some generic $20 unit bought off eBay a long tome ago for using on my since sold NEX7. I don’t find any issues with sharpness, I think that might be contributed to missed focus while focus peaking? Anyway, here is a quick test shot. ISO 100, shutter speed 1/125th. Some vignetting but less after I tested the lens without the UV filter ;P

  1. hmmm, you know seeing this is going to cost me money Rob. I already sprang for the X100s, now I’ll need either a Leica or A7R plus a couple Voigtlanders…damn you!
